Delivery and Returns Information

General Delivery Information

All our products are normally dispatched within 24 hours of cleared payment. UK orders are generally dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked 48, and international orders via Royal Mail International Signed For. In the case of large orders, we may send via alternative courier or service.

  • Delivery time is generally 24-48 hours (working days) in the UK
  • Delivery to Europe is generally 5 to 7 working days
  • Rest of the world usually takes from 7 to 10 working days

We do not post on weekends or public holidays – please allow additional time during bank / public holidays.

If an item is out of stock, we will inform you immediately about delivery time.

UK Delivery Charges

All orders for the UK are free of charge for Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery on orders over £100. Orders under £100 are charged at £3.95 for Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery.

We also offer Next Day Delivery, for UK orders only (a signature is required upon receipt). This is charged at £9.00. Please note, Next Day Delivery will be delivered next working day, and orders must be received before 3PM. Where orders are placed after 3PM, goods will be dispatched the following working day (and Next Day Delivery orders placed after 3PM on a Friday will be dispatched the following Monday).

International Delivery Charges

  • Europe £8.00
  • Rest of World £10.00

Returns Procedure

If returns are received by the Sporting Lodge within 14 days of receipt by the customer, a refund will be issued. Refunds are generally processed within 7 days after we receive the returned items. Credit notes will be issued for goods received after 14 days of receipt by the customer (up to 28 days). Please ensure all items to be returned are in a re-saleable condition, in original undamaged packaging with all labels attached, and have not been worn or otherwise used. We regret that we will be unable to accept non-faulty returns where tags have been removed.

When posting your item(s) back to us, it is strongly recommended you obtain proof of postage. Please ensure that items are well packaged. From overseas, the parcel must be clearly marked as “RETURN”.

After goods have been inspected by us, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price, or if the item was a special order (not normally available or stocked by The Sporting Lodge), a credit note for the full value will be issued. If the order was delivered outside the UK, your refund will be deducted a carriage price of £8.50 (Europe) or £12.75 (Rest of World) in the case of non-faulty items.

If an item arrives faulty or incorrect you must contact us by email or telephone within 7 days of receipt. If within 28 days of purchase goods returned to us are deemed faulty, incorrect or damaged after inspection, you will receive either a full refund, repair or replacement, plus reimbursement for the return delivery charge when postage receipt is provided (up to a maximum of £10). Please note if the items is deemed not faulty the customer is responsible for all postage costs.

After 28 days you may return any item for inspection if you believe it to be faulty, and we may either repair, replace or refund at our discretion if the item is deemed defective. Please contact us prior to returning goods. Please note if the items is deemed not faulty the customer is responsible for all postage costs.
