Fjallraven is a Swedish outdoor / lifestyle brand with retail stores across the world in places such as Oslo, New York and Hong Kong, as well as an extensive global wholesale business. The Sporting Lodge Ltd has run a successful store in Manchester for the last 4 years, and is now launching a new store in Sheffield city centre. Both stores are being run in close partnership with Fjallraven.

Store Manager

Being part of the Fjallraven brand, as Store Manager, you will be responsible for the recruitment and training of your retail team; delivering the highest quality customer service; acquiring a full understanding of the products; following the merchandising guidelines and maintaining impeccable store standards; exceeding your KPI’s including sales targets and maximising the store profitability.

You will be required to attend meetings as necessary and to contribute positively as part of the senior management team.

Full training will be given on the day to day running of the store and product training will also be given.

40 hours per week – must be available to work weekends

Previous managerial and retail experience is essential.

Assistant Manager

We are opening a new store in Sheffield city centre and are looking for a full time Assistant Manager to join the team. All candidates must have a genuine passion for the great outdoors and / or fashion, be experienced in supervising a retail team, know how to drive sales and have an understanding of the operational day to day running of a store. You should also know how to merchandise in store, to a high standard both visually and commercially.

The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager, helping to deliver the highest quality customer service and staff training, acquiring a full understanding of the products, following the merchandising standards and undertaking any other reasonable task required by the Store Manager. Excellent communication and sales skills required. Retail supervisor experience is preferred.

40 hours per week – must be available to work weekends

Full Time And Part Time Sales Assistants

As a Sales Assistant, you will undertake full product training in order to deliver outstanding customer service; you will be required to maintain the highest store merchandising standards and to undertake any reasonable tasks set by the management team. We are looking for candidates with a genuine interest in the outdoors and / or fashion, with excellent communication and sales skills.

You must be available for weekend work if required.
