The new Arktis Parka is designed for challenging the harsh conditions of the Arctic winter.
With G-1000 and Vinylon F, it combines the two most hardwearing fabrics developed by Fjällräven. Reinforcements of the virtually indestructible Vinylon F fabric on the front body, cuffs and elbows and the bottom back protect against abrasion and moisture. Filled with 450 g goose down, it withstands even the coldest winter. The ideal positioning of the pockets and a hood with an arctic fur complete the signature Fjällräven design and account for their excellent equipment expertise in their last 50 years. The new Arktis Parka can be described in one word: TOUGH! Uniting two of the most resistant materials, the parka is nearly indestructible.
A combination of waxed G-1000® fabric and Vinylon F reinforcements on critical and exposed spots assure great weather protection. The reinforcements are placed where abrasion resistance and water protection are needed most: elbow, front body, and bottom back.
With 450 g of 500 cuin goose down filling as well as numerous pockets and a snow lock at the bottom hem, the parka will keep you warm in snowy and windy conditions. Big front pockets provide plenty space for gloves, a warm hat or even a 1 litre thermos flask. The fixed two-way adjustable tunnel storm hood with detachable arctic fur (synthetic) underlines the clean Scandinavian design. Fjällräven’s Arktis Parka is perfect designed for low intensity activities in arctic winter, such as ice fishing, snowmobiling, or “bus-stop-waiting”.
