The Muntjac is a stunning general purpose cutting tool, compact and strong.

The 8cm blade is cut from 4mm stock steel to which is attributed a full flat grind, a micro secondary bevel assures its razor sharp edge.

14C28N steel is designed and made by Sandvik to have edge properties comparable with any steel worlwide but with much increased resistance to corrosion by the addition of a dash of nitrogen and pinch of chromium.

Scales are hewn from maroon linen Micarta which is fitted over red liners on a severely tapering tang, fixings and fittings are of nickel silver.

Micarta is a man made material which lends itself perfectly to knife handles.  It is hard wearing, strong and beautiful.

The sheath is hand made and hand stitched from the finest quailty bridle leather.

This knife has been made by Stuart Mitchell, one of the world's finest knifemakers.
